Patient Engagement Lead

You will lead on a wide range of patient‑focused initiatives, including health promotion campaigns, patient forums, peer‑support development, and improving insight into patient experience across the establishment

As our new Patient Engagement Lead, duties will include:

• Leading our Health Promotion Calendar and producing a monthly themed health newsletter
• Coordinating, facilitating, and evaluating patient forums across the prison
• Maintaining a strong presence on the wings to gather insight, build rapport, and enhance patient experience
• Supporting the delivery and training of Healthcare Champions
• Representing healthcare at User Voice meetings and developing positive working relationships with staff and partner organisations
• Monitoring, analysing, and responding to patient feedback, concerns, compliments, and complaints
• Proactively gathering patient experience insights to inform service improvements
• Contributing to the delivery of the Patient Engagement Strategy and wider quality‑improvement work
