Administrator

• As the first point of contact for the healthcare team, you will actively speak to hospitals, GP surgeries, and others, arranging external appointments for patients
• Book patients in for appointments 
• Work closely with the wider prison team to arrange hospital appointments, and ensure that prison officers have up to date clinic lists 
• Process referrals
• Update trackers, systems and spreadsheets for hospital appointments, admissions, consent forms etc
• Carry out admin tasks for Early Days in Custody (EDIC) / Reception 
• General admin duties such as scanning, post, minute taking and stock check

• Have extensive administration experience, ideally within a healthcare / medical setting, such as hospitals, GP surgery etc
• Have excellent customer service skills - this is a patient facing role
• Be comfortable working in a fast paced environment
• Any healthcare knowledge and experience would be a bonus, as would knowledge of QAF and clinical coding
• SystmOne knowledge would be beneficial
